RULES PATCH: character sheets
Hi all! This is a RULES PATCH, addressing changes or additions to the rules in the paper manual, which is currently shipping as Version 1.1.

RULES ADDITION: concerning character sheets
Players should not show their character sheets to other players at any time during the game. This is because the character sheet represents the absolute truth for that character - it doesn't lie or hide anything, as a diary or letters could. Consequently the player would have huge leverage in proving their intentions in a way that would never be possible in real life, because they do have proof of their thoughts and desires. This breaks the reality of the game, where the characters don't have such proof in-universe.
TL;DR: Don't show your character sheet to other players, ever.
Equally, a player is at enormous risk if their character sheet is compromised. Therefore, a penalty (such as taking away an ability, imposing a period of detain, or even imposing a kill on a serious offender) should be levied against any player who steals or otherwise abuses the character sheet of another player. The host should choose an appropriate penalty for the seriousness of the infraction.
TL;DR: Theft or abuse of other people's character sheets will result in a penalty.
